Aubergine Pinstripe F1 is a beautifly coloured variety with mild, delicate flavour, almost creamy flesh. Free of bitterness, this stunning fruit grows to 10-15cm. Pinstripe is a spineless, compact auberfgine variety ideal for the patio to grow in containers and pots. The beautiful silvery foliage is very attractive, it has ornamental values and the depp purple fruits with white stripes are equally eye catching.

The Aubergines are high in potassium, folate and magnesium and a good source of Vitamins E and K.

Sow the Rosa Bianca seeds about 0.5 cm deep in a good, free-draining, moist, seed compost. Place in a heated propagator, windowsill or seal the seed tray into a polythene bag at a temperature of 18-21 Celsius until after germination which takes 10 -14 days. Sow January-March.

Transplant the aubergine seedlings when large enough to handle into individual pots and grow on in slightly cooler conditions. Pot on finally into larger containers or 2 plants into a growbag, or outdoors once plants have been acclimatised to conditions and after all risk of frost has passed. Grow under cover, in the greenhouse, conservatory or outside in well- drained, rich soil, in a sunny location.

Once first flowers have set, feed and water regularly with tomato feed. Harvest regularly to encourage further flower and fruit production.
