Kelvedon Wonder is a reliable, early maturing variety, producing massive crops of pods with 7-8 peas per pod.  Peas are a good source of Vitamins A, C, B1 and folic acid and also contain soluble fibre. Sow the pea seeds outside from March until June in rich soil, about 3 cm deep. Allow 6 cm between plants and about 45 cm between the rows.

Keep weed free during the season. Protect from birds as soon as seedlings appear and support the plants with suitable twigs and netting.

Water well when plants are in flower; this will improve cropping.

Regular picking will encourage further cropping.
