Lettuce Seeds-Majus Kiralya
Butterhead type lettuce. Early variety, excellent cold tolerance.

King of May (Május Királya) lettuce has compact, medium-sized hearts. Can be sown from February onwards until mid-April and in the autumn for later poduction. As easy to grow as any other lettuce. Can be picked at a very young age and the leaves can be used in salads, sandwiches.



Sow the lettuce seeds from early spring or in the autumn, 0.5-1 cm deep 30 cm apart.
A rich, well-drained soil is recommended to grow lettuces.

Thin out to 25-35 cm apart as the seedlings appear. Water well in dry spells.

Can be harvested at the leafy stage, or left to mature until the hearts form. Thin out gradually and enjoy the fresh, crispy leaves in salads, sandwiches. Later the plants form a good sized head, one enough for the whole family to enjoy the tender green leaves.
