Giant strain. Can reach 3 metres in height.

This sunflower is a giant strain. Reaches 3 metres in height very easily. Ideal for competitions. One of the children's favourite flower.  

Sow sunflower seeds from April inside in small pots, 2-3 cm deep. When seedlings are large enough to handle plant them into bigger pots and grow them on for a further 2 weeks before planting outside to the final position. Well drained, rich soil recommended. For really tall flower regular feeding is advised.

Alternatively can be sown outside directly, after the last chance of frost has passed in your area.
