Cabbage Evergreen F1 30 seeds
As the name suggest this variety has a very long harvesting period. Does not form heads during the growing season.
Evergreen can be sown under glass from January till May and in the autumn in October and November to plant out later. Also you can sow the seeds direct outside too from late March through June.
When seedlings are large enough to handle, plant them individually, if you started the seeds inside then keep them inside until they have 4-6 leaves.
Plant outside, spacing 16in x 18in, in well drained soil, be sure to water the plants in sunny spells, protect from birds and slugs.
Ready to harvest in about 55 days after germination and the plants keep very well in the soil, just pick them as you need them as they heart formation is very slow.
