Well flavoured variety, excellent in stir fries and for steaming. Peas are a good source of Vitamins A, C, B1 and folic acid and also contain soluble fibre.

Sow seed outside from early March until June in rich soil. About 3 cm deep, allow 6 cm between plants and about 45 cm between the rows.

Keep weed free during the season. Protect from birds as soon as seedlings appear and support the plants with suitable twigs, netting.

Water well when plants are in flower; this will improve cropping.

Start picking when the peas inside the pods just start to form; regular picking will encourage further cropping.
