makes 4-6 footlong baquettes:
3 cans of tuna ( i like with John West with oil, but any will do)
2 sticks of celery, chopped finely
1 onion, chopped finely or grated
1 carrot, chopped finely or grated
1 appel, chopped finely or grated
3-4 cucumbers, chopped finely
salad dressing (oil based)
salt, pepper, cayenne powder
garlic powder (or fresh, but I prefer powder for this as it’s not so strong)
method:
chop, grate, or proces all vegetables and fruit until quite small.
Drain tuna and place in a bowl, season to taste with salt, pepper, cayenne and garlic. Add salad dressing until a smooth puree forms.
Add all the chopped ingredients and mix well. Add more dressing if needed
to serve I made a little side of rucola, cherry tomatoes, olives, and feta cheese, but this is intirely optional, I just like the look.
I used this shop bought dressing as it’s nice and mellow and not pungent with vinegar.
You could use mayonaise, I like this lighter version.
