Molucella or Bells of Ireland is an excellent cut flower and used in winter decoratios too. The stems are closely set with green bell like bracts, the white flowers are fragrant. A great border plant, prefers full sun or partial shade.

Sow the molucella seeds in April-May about 0.5cm deep in a free draining seed compost. Germination can be slow. Temperature should be 18-22 Celsius during germination.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, plant them into smaller pots and acclimatize them to the outdoour conditions before planting out to heir final position.
