Godetia is a hardy annual flower. Adds interest to any flower border and the double blooms look great if planted in groups too. Godetia Azalea strain is an excellent variety for bedding. Wonderful colours of pinks and reds.

Sow thinly direct outside in April-May to flower July-September, 0.5 cm deep in drills 35-45 cm apart in well cultivated soil, rake the soil well. Thin out seedlingsto 15-20 cm apart. For earlier flowering you can sow the godetia flower seeds inside in seed trays in a seed compost. Transplant the godetia seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or small pots. Grow on cool, in full light and water sparingly. Plant outafter all risk of frost passed in your area.
