Candid Charm is an excellent, quick maturing cauliflower. Ideal hybrid for thight spacing. The upright plants have dark green leaves which give excellent protection for the heads. An all around great cauli variety.

Sow Candid Charm cauliflower seeds in quality compost in seed tray or in small pots March under glass for July-August harvest. Sow the seeds in a nursery bed outside late in April-May. Protect the seeds from slugs and pigeons.

When seedlings are large enough to handle, plant them individually, keep them inside until they have 4-6 leaves. Water regularly especially during the summer. If sown outside thin out the seedlings so the leaves do not overlap until the seedlings will go to their final position.

Plant outside, leave 50-80 cm between the plants, in well drained soil, make sure you water the plants in sunny spells, protect from birds and slugs. The pure white heads can be picked young when about a cricket ball in size. For winter harvest the plants need a spacing of 80 cm. The heads can weigh up to 1kg.
