Radish French Breakfast is a traditional variety with scarlet skin and mildly flavoured white flesh. This radish is crisp, crunchy, mild and sweet. Ready to harvest in 4-5 weeks.
Sow the French Breakfast radish seeds into well prepared soil from early spring to late summer. Prefers well drained, moderately rich soil. Sow seeds about 1 cm deep in drills 15-20 cm apart. Seeds will germinati within one week.
Thin out the seedlings as necessary. Start harvesting as soon as the roots are rached a reasonable size. If let in the soil very long then the roots get very spicy and woody.
