Dark crimson almost black, fully double flowers, and the colour does not fade. The flowers dry nicely too and you can eat the petals when fresh as a garnish. These flower seeds can be sown direct outside. Very charming flowers, grow proudly on top of tall, branching stems, they almost look like pom-poms. Ideally suited to create a wildflower meadow or 'messy' natural looking flower borders, the flowers will attract beneficial insects to your garden.

Cornflower, a UK native, comes in a range of colors and are quite easy to grow. They are a favorite of gardeners for their beauty, variety, and absolute ease of care. Blooming from early June through late August.
