Sugar Snap Pea Delikett 200 seeds
Delikett Sugar Snap Pea is a dwarf pea growing only 60 - 70 cm tall so there is no need for staking. The pods are round, crunchy and sweet; can be found in many British gardens. Peas are a good source of Vitamins A, C, B1 and folic acid and also contain soluble fibre.
Sow the sugar snap pea seeds outside from late March until June in rich soil. About 3 cm deep, allow 6 cm between plants and about 45 cm between the rows.
Keep weed free during the season. Protect from birds as soon as seedlings appear and youmight need to support the plants with suitable twigs or netting but this variety should grow well without support, but in windy areas it is recommended to have support. Water well when plants are in flower; this will improve cropping.
Start picking when the peas inside the pods just start to form; regular picking will encourage further cropping.
