French Lavender 100 seeds
French Lavender (Lavandula stoechas) is a well know beautiful perennial, naturally occurs in Mediterranean countries. Attracts bees and other useful insects to your garden. The plants grow up to 1.5 metre tall.A particularly attractive feature of this plant are the prominentviolet-purple bracts that top each flower spike and persist after theflowers themselves have faded.
Sow the french lavender seeds thinly indoors in early spring from late February till May. The germination can be slow. Cover the seeds with sieved compost and place at a temperature of 15 - 20 Celsius.
Prick out he seedlings to individual pots when large enough to handle and grow them on inside. Alternatively you can sow 2 seeds per small pot. And grow the seedlings on inside. Germination can be slow. Make sure you don't overwater the young seedlings.
