Feverfew (Tanaccetum parthenium) is a traditional medicinal herb, can be found in many cottage garden. The leaves have a somewhat lemony scent and the small daisy like flowers brighten up the herb garden. The feverfew plants grow up to 50 cm tall. Treats fever, headaches, improves digestion. The active ingredients used in creams, perfumes.

Sow feverfew seeds thinly from early spring 0.5 cm deep, inside into a good quality seed compost. Place the seed trays into a plastic bag to aid germination.

Pot the seedlings on into larger pots and grow them inside until the plants abot 20 cm tall. Plant out into ordinary garden soil, and control growth if needed.
