Maris Piper Maincrop Seed Potato
Maris Piper is a versatile and well know variety, excellent all around potato. This variety considered the best for making chips, but the fluffy and creamy texture makes it ideal for a wide variety of uses in the kitchen. Stores well after lifting.
Open pack upon arrival and lay the poatotes in a single layer on cardboard or paper in a cool, dark, well ventilated and dry place to prevent sweating and chitting.
Maris Piper is great for mashing, roasting and baking as well; the creamy texture is just irresistable and very useful in the kitchen.
It is a fast growing potato ready to harvest from July onwards, good storing qualities, and you van keep them in the ground till the late autumn.
Plant in March - April.
